Who is eligible to participate?
The demo contest is open to new and existing clients. No deposit is required to join. Note: One Demo Contest account per person. Creating multiple accounts (e.g., with different emails) or participating with more than one account is not allowed and may lead to disqualification.
What trading account can I use for the contest?
Only the “Demo Contest” account is eligible. You find it in the HeroFX Backoffice. You’ll use the same demo contest account for every contest round. The balance is automatically reset to $10,000 before each round begins.
Do I need to register in advance to participate?
No registration is required in advance. Each contest round runs for 1 trading week — simply start trading on your demo contest account anytime during the round to join.
When does the next round start?
The next round start date is always displayed on the website and on the Leaderboard. Additionally, we will announce it on our Instagram.
The contest frequency is bi-weekly (1 week competition, 1 week pause, etc.).
Where can I find my competition rank?
You can view your current rank on the Leaderboard displayed under the tab “Current Round”. Just look for your trading account ID or masked email using the filter to see your ranking position.
How are winners determined?
The top 10 participants with the highest percentage gains on their demo trading accounts by the end of the contest week will be declared winners. Prizes are awarded based on ranking.
How will I receive my prize?
Your Hero10X account will be credited to your HeroFX Backoffice automatically within a few days after the contest week ends, with the trading capital based on your final position on the leaderboard.
Why is trading disabled on my contest account?
Trading on the “Demo Contest” account is only enabled during an active round. If you get "trading disabled" error message in TradeLocker or MT5, its because there is no active contest round.

Which Trading Platform can I trade on?
U.S. clients will participate using TradeLocker, while non-U.S. clients will trade on MetaTrader 5.
What are the trading conditions?
Standard Spreads, Zero Commission. Each Contest account has the same trading conditions.
What trading techniques are allowed?
Manual trading only. Any fair, market-conforming strategy is allowed, but orders must be placed by you (no EAs/bots, trade copiers, APIs or scripts). Arbitrage, quote abuse, or coordinated/group trading leads to disqualification.
Where can I find my contest rank?
You can view your current rank on the Leaderboard displayed on this page (“Current Round”) or inside your HeroFX Backoffice. Just look for your trading account ID or masked email in the list to see your rank.

- 1st: $5,000 trading capital
- 2nd: $2,500 trading capital
