Who is eligible to participate?
Hero Games is open to all HeroFX clients, both new and existing – everyone can participate. You just need to be KYC verified.
What trading account can I use for the contest?
Only the “Hero Games” account is eligible. You can open it in your HeroFX Backoffice. After opening the account, it will automatically be credited with a $10,000 demo balance.
What are some example scenarios?
Scenario #1: Elimination & Re-entry
You purchase a Hero Games account before the start on Mar 01 for free. The Hero Games begin, and after the first week of trading (Mar 07) you are ranked 360. Unfortunately, this means you are eliminated and your account is removed from the competition. However, you can still re-enter by purchasing a new Hero Games account for $50.
Scenario #2: Late Entry
Hero Games has already started and you haven’t purchased an account yet. No problem – you can still participate. You don’t have a disadvantage regarding winning a prize, but your entry price may be higher.
- After Mar 07 (1st Elimination), the entry fee is $50.
- After Mar 14 (2nd Elimination), the entry fee is $100.
- From Mar 21 (3rd Elimination), no new entries are possible.
Scenario #3: No Elimination
You participate in Hero Games and have very good trading performance. At the Elimination, your rank is high enough to stay in the competition. This means your open trades will be closed and your balance will be reset to $10,000 for the next phase.
Your advantage: traders who were eliminated and want to continue must purchase a new Hero Games account at a higher entry price, while you keep competing with your existing account.
Which Trading Platform can I trade on?
U.S. clients will participate using TradeLocker, while non-U.S. clients will trade on MetaTrader 5.
Where can I find my contest rank?
You can view your current rank on the Leaderboard under this page’s menu tab “Live Ranking”.
Simply look for your trading account ID or masked email in the list to see your position.
Why did my Hero Games account disappear / get blocked ?
If you can’t log in anymore and don’t see your Hero Games account in your Backoffice, it most likely means you were eliminated from the contest – but no worries, you can re-enter any time until 3rd Elimination.
Whether you get eliminated depends entirely on your trading performance and rank at each elimination time.

After the 3rd Elimination, only the Top 50 traders remain. These Top 50 then compete during the final week, and the final ranking is based on each trader’s percentage gain. Prizes are awarded according to the final ranking.

No separate registration is required in advance. As soon as Hero Games is announced, you can already purchase your Hero Games account in the Backoffice.
Trading on that account will be disabled until the official start date.
Can I join mid-round?
Yes. You can join Hero Games any time up to the 3rd Elimination. You don’t have any disadvantage in terms of winning a prize, but your entry fee may be higher.
After the 1st Elimination, the entry fee is $50.

Can I have multiple Hero Games accounts?
You cannot trade on multiple Hero Games accounts at the same time.
However, you can buy a new Hero Games account if:
a) You were eliminated, or
b) You manually archived your account (for example, if you’re unhappy with your performance and want a fresh start)
